Parking for Flying Home 2023
Most of Flying Home 2023 will be taking place in downtown Durham NC. Like lots of vibrant downtown areas parking can be a challenge at times so we recommend you leave yourself some time in your schedules to deal with parking. Our suggestion is to find a parking space that you can stay in all day, either in the garage (which is free on the weekend) or on the street and then either walk or use a rideshare to go between venues. All the downtown venues are within a mile of each other but they can be a long hot walk in July.
Parking at the Durham Armory:
Durham Armory Address: 212 Foster St, Durham, NC
Guest parking is available on the street or at the Durham Centre Parking Garage located at 300 W. Morgan Street. If you are asking an attendant for directions ask if it is good parking for the Armory. Parking meters in Durham are Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Parking at the Durham Exchange:

Street parking should be available around the Durham Exchange, especially on Pearl ST. and Mallard Ave. Please read signs at any parking lots nearby so you follow the rules and don’t have any issues.

Parking at the Arthur Murray Studio :

With nearby construction, parking has been a challenge here. There is a small lot behind the studio that fills up quickly, there are some businesses nearby that don’t mind after hours parking (Please read the signs carefully, we cannot guarantee any particular lot is ok). There is street parking on Foster St. and around the corner on W Trinity Ave. (see red on map below)

Parking at Triangle Meeting Space and Studios:
Address: 2603 S. Miami Blvd.
Parking here is the simplest by far once you turn off Miami Blvd you are in the parking lot! Finding the entrance can be tricky though, there are directions HERE Classes will be in the Back Studio, see below.
